Summary

This is a layout control which displays and manages visibility of shared areas with controls and CMS content.
These shared areas are similar to Header and Footer Areas.

Also, Sidebars control allows to enable/disable displaying of CMS Content (articles, posts).

Usage

The Sidebars control includes a number of shared Sidebar Areas. All content inside these areas will be automatically shared between templates where this area is enabled.

The Sidebars are collapsible if empty.

Option "Hide If [...] Is Empty"

The Sidebar may contain CMS widgets (modules, blocks, etc) and Themler controls.

  • If enabled, the Sidebar will be collapsed if no CMS widgets (modules, blocks) are inside.
  • If disabled, the Sidebar will not be collapsed if there is at least one control except Widget Area (Position, Region) inside this Sidebar. Even if no CMS widgets are inside.

Styling of CMS Content

Themler outputs CMS content using the Posts control which is located inside the CMS Content Area.
The CMS Content Area is shared too.
To customize the appearance of the Posts control (change style, add/remove controls, etc.) on the specific Template, navigate to the Posts control in Preview area, or in Path, and click the "Customize TEMPLATE Style" button:

Otherwise, you will get the same appearance of the Posts control on all Templates.

To reset the customized Posts style to default, or use customized style as default, please use one of the following options:
